All the webmasters who volunteer their time are active on the Internet with their own web sites and projects. The same is true for programmers and system analysts that are on our volunteer staff.

Each site that is submitted to Top Ranked Site for inclusion into our database is reviewed by one of our Internet experts. The reviewer is looking at overall content, ease of use, site consistency and technical construction. If the site collects visitor information or is an online store, further review is given to an online privacy policy and a posted policy for keeping this information secure.

While we supply a large number of hits to the sites that are listed on Top Ranked, our primary mission is to give the visitors to our web site a list of sites that we feel are the best of the best, Top Ranked. That our visitors can visit any listed site and feel secure to do business with that site, or to review the information on that site with confidence.

Only a small number of the many request received for inclusion are accepted. This is in no way meant to imply that a site is not a good site; it simply means that the site does not meet our higher standards of review.
